The thorax has 6 segments each with a pair of biramous appendages. Abdomen without appendages. Body divided into capitulum and peduncle. Five plates in the capitulum smooth and separated from each other by a black integument. The edge of the plates towards the opening yellow orange. Cirri black. Peduncle in adults dark brown.
