Large passerine (45 cm) with a very long tail. Black head, breast and back, white belly and wing coverts, bluish wing feathers and tail with green and purple metallic reflections. Robust conical bill and long legs. Frequently forages on the ground. Builds a nest of twigs and mud in trees with a dome of branches as a roof. Sedentary.
