Additional information
Very thick body and head very broad at the back. End of the muzzle visibly raised and recurved, forming the prominence from which the common name of the species is derived. Typical grey or brownish colour with two oblique lines on the head and a dorsal stripe with a zigzag pattern or a succession of rhomboidal spots. Numerous scales on the head.
