Additional information
Body dorsoventrally flattened and divided into three distinct parts. The first antennae or antennules, minuscule and in some cases vestigial. Pereion is formed by eight segments, the first one fused to the cephalothorax. Each of the seven pereionites bears a pair of pereiopods.
