Conservation status
A species of the order Julida native to the Iberian Peninsula, Ommatoiulus moreletii (Lucas, 1860), has been introduced to the Atlantic islands, South Africa and South Australia, and is found in the national catalog of species invasive due to its introduction in the Canary Islands.
